'I'm wearing a pair of knee-length Pantharella black silk socks (as well as a suit, shirt and tie, etc!). Sounds a bit extravagant, I know, to be sitting in the office in a pair of £20 silk socks, but they are the most comfortable and easy to wear socks I have ever bought in my pampered little life - get a pair if you don't already have some! I bought them from Barrington Ayre at the same time as having a dress shirt made for me for a white-tie do last week - it really does make a difference, wearing a made-to-measure shirt - again, do it if you haven't tried!
